Tips for a good Japanese conversation
- Pick a simple topic for your room, like food, films or your weekend.
- Ask people to correct you in the chat, so you can review the words later.
- Use headphones to avoid echo.
- Be kind. Everyone is learning. Read the community rules.

Yes. Joining and creating rooms, chat and messages are all free.
Do I need to be good at Japanese?
No. Rooms have levels from Beginner to Advanced, and you can just listen and use the text chat until you feel ready.
What do I need?
A browser on your phone or computer and a microphone. Headphones help avoid echo.
